My Mission

I know that designing the battery may look like a difficult process, but it does not have to be like this.


My mission is to help companies elicitate and manage the battery requirements and take care of them throughout the whole lifecycle.

Ensuring that the design processes and guidelines are empowering the design rather than being an obstacle.


Each project may be different, but every project can be successful.


Requirements

Requirements are the core of any project. With my experience with numerous projects and applications I am able to assess, refine and elicitate the project requirements.

Processes

Worked on many project and being involved in the design of many batteries I will help you and your company on adjusting the processes and adapting them to your business and market needs. Sometimes time is the essence and sometimes you need to redefine the market. The choice is yours, I am to help.

Supplier management

The make or buy decision is always a difficult one. The same as your supplier. I have worked on both sides, as OEM and as Tier 1 supplier. I can help manage and asses the project as well as suppliers.

2024 - Today

The changes are often necessary.

I have joined the BMZ Poland Sp. z o.o. and quickly embarked onto my next challenges. I had a brief presence in the battery project for Daimler.


Currently I am part of the BMS hub where I am focused on the BMS requirements and Functional Safety based on ISO 26262:2018.

2022 - 2024 - Leading the Team

After successfully delivering the sixth project in my career it was a time for a biggest challenge. 

Leading the people.

I have been given the proudest role of my life - leading the team of system engineers.

  • I was able to expand the team to 8 people.
  • Prepare the requirements management, DVP and other design processes.
  • Work with CTO and management board on shaping the company strategy and product portfolio.
  • Have input in the upcoming projects and free hand with the ongoing.

2020 - 2022 - COVID strikes back

After COVID I came back to the old friends at ICPT. I was awarded with what I believe was (and still is) the most complex battery system in the electric vehicle.


The Sixth project

  • 14 battery packs in a single vehicle
  • Series parallel connection utilising 3 different battery shapes
  • External BMS partner with ISO 26262 both at BMS and the system level
  • 3 level BMS with in-house master controller
  • Up to 4 parallel multi-split cell stacks
  • Each parallel branch being independent and capable of providing the energy to the system

2019 - 2020 - Dream come true

Fifth project

  • Battery for McLaren Ultimate series car
  • UHP LFP solution
  • up to 200C currents
  • High Voltage
  • ...NDA

2017 - 2019 - First steps as System Engineer

Second project

  • 48V 300Ah battery for AGV
  • Integrated heating and thermal insulation
  • In-house BMS
  • Dedicated charging solution with full integration


Third project

  • 24V 300Ah battery for AGV
  • In-house BMS
  • Small form factor used in hospital automated carriers


Fourth  project

  • 48V 20Ah battery for heavy duty mild-hybrid system
  • LTO high power cells
  • State-of-the-art cooling system
  • In-house single board BMS with up to 24S capability
  • 40kW peak power
  • Up to 8C continuous current capability

2016 - The Holiday Internship

This is where it all started. Being an active member of ADek and an student of Electrical Engineering at WUT I began my journey with electromobility and all things Li-ion. Development of electric go-kart tied with Eruopean Championship in France. Also start of internship at Impact Clean Power Technology S.A..
